（中央社記者葉霈萱、林沂鋒台北6日電）副總統吳敦義今天說，這次塵爆事件是群眾活動的重大意外傷害，衷心祈求佛祖庇佑往生者，與好幾百位正在奮鬥求生的受傷者，希望傷者得到妥善照顧，早日重建正常生活。

吳副總統今天出席臨濟護國禪寺的「八仙塵爆消災祈福大法會」，與中國佛教會理事長圓宗長老及24個縣市佛教會的理事長、法師共同為八仙塵爆受害者祈福。

吳副總統表示，這次塵爆事件是群眾活動的重大意外傷害，「傷害之深、人員之多，在全世界都很少見。」而社會大眾捐款踴躍，截至今天中午，新北市專戶的捐款已經近新台幣9億元，陽光基金會專戶的也超過2億多元。
